Instruments available: Yamaha P-70 weighted action piano (can be used as MIDI controller for software instruments), Squier Strat, Encore bass.

Big Live room, separate drum booth and vocal booth if required

Recordings and Rehearsals

The project’s rehearsal and recording facilities are accessed extensively by  the public including both young men and women from the Jewish community. People using the studio include: Phil Kitchen and Doctor Socrates, Paul Fisher, Good old Boys, Mary Jane (an Amy Winehouse tribute act), Ben McVinnie, Jade Emmerson, Crashed Out, Peter Chapman, Chava Goldman (who has recorded a Fitness CD for Jewish women), Sylvia and David Hughes, Sme, Simon and Maj, Taylor Stewart, Impulse 11, Jewish groups and the Behaviour support service

The Soundroom is working closely with John Parkin who facilitates music at Eslington School, Brighton Avenue school. Lisa Laidler who runs a local talent agency and brings people to record regularly.
